Collect Art invites artists worldwide to submit their work for the upcoming curated exhibition and special publication issue, themed “Wilderness”.
Wilderness is not just a place on a map. It is a state of being — raw, untamed, unfiltered, and free from control. It is the dense forest we have never entered, the desert that swallows all traces, the ocean depths, the mountain silence, but also the wildness that lives inside us: instinct, memory, fear, desire, and the part of the self that refuses to be domesticated…
Open to artists worldwide, aged 18 and above, working in various media, including painting, drawing, collage, installation, illustration, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, assemblage, fiber art, paper art, printmaking, 3D digital art, glass art, metalwork, and more.
We invite works exploring Wilderness in all its forms — from untamed landscapes, natural forces, forests, deserts, oceans and mountains to themes of human-nature relationships, ecological fragility and resilience, solitude, survival, freedom, animal instinct, the feral and primitive, inner wilderness, bodies as landscapes, mythological wilds, and the edge between civilization and chaos. Your interpretation can be literal, symbolic, emotional, political or deeply personal, vast or intimate, quiet or violent, sacred or threatening — approach it through your own unique visual language..
Selected artists will have the privilege of being showcased in a month-long online exhibition and will receive a 2-6 page spread in both print and digital magazines. This feature will encompass a biography, artist statement, interview, website link, and 2-10 featured artworks. Moreover, all published artists will receive a complimentary digital issue of the magazine, which will be actively promoted on our website and social media platforms. Additionally, artists will be provided with a link to order the printed version of the magazine.
Moreover, the curatorial team will select a few exceptional artists for inclusion in their upcoming book edition titled '101 Contemporary Artists and More...'
Requirements for the submission: Up to 12 photos, details of the work (title, medium, size, year), brief biography, artist statement (min 100 words each), website, and social media links.
Deadline: October 30, 2026
Application Fee: No Fee
The participation fee is 55 EUR (in case of acceptance)
