Collect Art invites artists worldwide to submit their work for our upcoming curated exhibition and special publication issue: SHADOWS & MONSTERS. What lurks beneath the surface of the conscious mind? This theme explores the dark, the uncomfortable, and the hauntingly human.
Open to artists worldwide, aged 18 and above, working in various media, including painting, drawing, collage, installation, illustration, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, assemblage, fiber art, paper art, printmaking, 3D digital art, glass art, metalwork, and more.
The theme of the online exhibition & edition is related to fears, in all its possible meanings and kind of development.
Any visual interpretations of monsters – both literal and metaphorical – is most welcome. Whether you portray mythic beasts, demonic figures, or dive inward to explore personal phobias, deep-seated dreads, mental health struggles, psychological disorders, and the unsettling aspects of daily existence (even sociologically and politically speaking), we want to see your darkest vision.
Selected artists will have the privilege of being showcased in a month-long online exhibition and will receive a 2-6 page spread in both print and digital magazines. This feature will include a biography, an artist statement, an interview, a website link, and 2-10 featured artworks. Moreover, all published artists will receive a complimentary digital issue of the magazine, which will be actively promoted on our website and social media platforms. Additionally, artists will receive a link to order the printed version of the magazine.
Moreover, the curatorial team will select a few exceptional artists for inclusion in their upcoming book edition titled '101 Contemporary Artists and More...'
Requirements for the submission: Up to 12 photos, details of the work (title, medium, size, year, description is optional), brief biography, artist statement (min 100 words each), website, and social media links.
Deadline: September 25, 2026
Application Fee: No Fee
The participation fee is 55 EUR (in case of acceptance)
