Anthem Properties is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced local, regional and national
artists or artist teams to create a public artwork for their development at 2914 St Johns St, Port Moody.

The site locations and public art opportunities offer a wide range of possibilities in two- and three-dimensional form including lighting, interactive and other innovative media, and artists are encouraged to explore approaches that activate and energize the identified site locations.

PUBLIC ARTWORK BUDGET: $565,000.00 CAD for all artist fees, detailed design, engineering,
fabrication and installation costs relating to the public art

ELIGIBILITY: Two-stage open call with an Expression of Interest (EOI) to experienced local, regional, and national Canadian artists

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: Thursday March 12, 2026 at 4:00pm PDT

PROJECT COMPLETION: August 2029

The amount designated for the public artwork is $565,000.00, and includes the artist fee, concept
development, detailed design, engineering, fabrication, installation and final documentation.

Each shortlisted artist will be paid an honorarium of $6,500.00 for their work, paid following
presentation of the concept proposal.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST REQUIREMENTS (DIGITAL FORMAT ONLY)
i) Cover letter briefly outlining the artistic approach to the site and public art opportunity
(500 words maximum)
ii) Current CV (2 pages maximum)
iii) Maximum of 10 high quality digital images of past work (can be submitted as a folder link
from WeTransfer, Dropbox, GoogleDrive, and/or OneDrive etc)
iv) Annotated image list of past work including title, date, and corresponding image number
v) Complete contact information (full name, email, phone number)
