Pantanal Favela Studio (PFS) is launching an open call for its first collective exhibition. We are mapping independent artists to occupy our physical and digital spaces in this inaugural show. We are looking for works that reflect the aesthetic and political power of our lived experiences in the hood. If your work challenges the present, apply now.
TIMELINE – PANTANAL FAVELA STUDIO 01 (MARCH/2026)
Jan 12th to Feb 8th: Application Period (Open Call).
Feb 9th to Feb 13th: Curatorship and Artist Selection.
Feb 15th: Announcement of selected artists on the website and social media (@pantanalfavelastudio)
Feb 16th to Feb 22nd: Shipment of physical artworks and digital catalog organization.*
Feb 23th to Feb 28th: Exhibition setup and sales platform finalization.
March 1st, 2026: Official Opening: PANTANAL FAVELA STUDIO 01.
* Logistics and the costs of shipping/returning physical artworks to the Pantanal Favela Studio space are the sole responsibility of the artist. For artists residing outside of São Paulo or Brazil, PFS offers the option of exhibition via digital media or local printing, subject to a prior cost agreement.
