We are pleased to announce our next Special Edition, 'Water & Metaphors.'

Submit work exploring water not only as a physical element, but as a symbol, memory, or emotional landscape. From flowing currents and tidal rhythms to concepts of cleansing, depth, reflection, transformation, and silence — this theme welcomes visual interpretations both literal and poetic. We are looking for artworks that reveal how water becomes metaphor: a mirror of the self, a container of history, a force of change, or a threshold between worlds.

This open call invites artists working in various media, including painting, drawing, collage, installation, illustration, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, assemblage, fiber art, paper art, printmaking, 3D digital art, glass art, metalwork, and more.

Open to artists worldwide, aged 18 and above.​

Each selected artist will receive a 2-6 page spread in print and digital magazines, including a biography, statement, interview, website, and 2-10 featured artworks. All published artists will receive a complimentary digital issue of the magazine, which will be promoted on our website/social media. In addition, you will receive the link for ordering the printed magazine.

Moreover, the curatorial team will select a few exceptional artists for inclusion in their upcoming book edition titled '101 Contemporary Artists and More...'

Requirements for the submission:
Up to 12 photos (min. 300 dpi, JPEG/TIFF format), details of the work (title, medium, size, year), brief biography, artist statement (min 100 words each), website, and social media links.

Application Fee: No Fee
The participation fee is 25 EUR (in case of acceptance)
