THE KRONENRINGE JEWELLERY RESIDENCY FOR EMERGING ARTISTS
offers a rare and fully funded opportunity for jewellery artists worldwide.
BASED IN LANDSBURG AM LECH, GERMANY,
the programme invites 3 artists per year to live and work for 4 months in the original workshop of the late goldsmith BARBARA HELLEIS.
LANDSBERG AM LECH
• 50 km west of MUNICH and AUGSBURG
• well connected by train and highway, airport Munich 1 hour drive by train
• 30,000 inhabitants
• historic old town + active cultural life
EACH RESIDENCY PROVIDES:
WORKSHOP: 100 m² fully equipped jewellery studio (traditional + modern tools, rolling mills, draw bench, polishing motor, galvanic equipment, wax modelling, photography set-up)
MATERIALS: silver, gemstones, chains, semi-finished parts
ACCOMMODATION: furnished 40 m² apartment, 10 min walk from studio
FUNDING: €700 monthly stipend + €500 travel allowance
EXHIBITION: public presentation in Landsberg, with partner collaborations possible
SPECIAL SUPPORT:
The programme is supported by leading jewellery organisations in BAVARIA, including professional associations, academies, the State Vocational School for Glass and Jewellery in Kaufbeuren-Neugablonz, and the INHORGENTA trade fair in Munich.
This provides residents with access to a professional network for exchange, inspiration and visibility.
RESIDENCY PERIODS 2025/26:
• NOVEMBER 2025 – FEBRUARY 2026
• MARCH – JUNE 2026
• JULY – NOVEMBER 2026
STRUCTURE:
First 2 weeks = arrival + orientation
Last 2 weeks = exhibition prep + excursions + exchange
