Lyndon Institute is inviting artists in all performing arts disciplines to apply for residency.
Residencies will take place during the months of November and December, January and February, March and April, or June and July with a duration of four to six weeks to be determined with two selected artists from the applicant pool.
Lyndon Institute is a comprehensive town academy with a robust arts program that serves high school students and offers a robust curriculum, including fine and performing arts. The Barbara Follett Artist-in-Residence will guide students through an introduction to, or exploration of, a chosen discipline, helping them develop the skills necessary to produce/hone in their own art/skill development. The resident artist may teach or co-teach one class per week, provide a master class, or other educational opportunity plus provide a performance of work for the public and/or school community at Lyndon Institute, located in Lyndon, Vermont.
Selected artists will receive housing and studio/performance space for working and presenting. Families and pets are welcome with discussion.
