SEA AIR is an off-grid, process-oriented artist residency taking place on Silba, a car-free island in the Adriatic Sea, Croatia. It invites international artists, writers, sound explorers, herbalists, and cultural practitioners for 2–8 week stays in a remote forest home powered by solar energy and rainwater.

The residency emphasizes ecological awareness, intuitive processes, ritual practices, and deep listening. There is no pressure for results—this is a space for recalibration, slow work, or simply being. The forest, beaches, wind, and silence are your collaborators.

Participants are offered solitude, freedom, and support to follow their own rhythm. No formal studio exists—the island is your studio. SEA AIR especially welcomes queer, BIPOC, and emerging artists, and practices grounded in care, healing, and embodied knowledge.

There is no application fee. A basic donation (~25 EUR/day) covers utilities. Alternative contributions (barter, skill-sharing, workshops) are welcome. Apply by August 8, 2025. Selection is rolling.
