Chip In invites artists to submit work for “The Art BBQ”, a summer-inspired group exhibition that celebrates community, connections, the joy of gathering, through an installation that celebrates up and coming artist.
This exhibition transforms a familiar summer moment, a picnic in the park, a backyard BBQ, an evening with friends into a gallery experience that centres around belonging, connection, and shared experiences. It’s a space for stories told through art. This exhibition seeks to bring together a collective of artists for a summer show celebrating new talent and connecting with artist.
We’re seeking artworks that evoke the spirit of togetherness and provoke memories of connection. This up to interpretation. All mediums welcome
To apply, please submit the following:
• Artist name and short bio (150 words)
• Title, medium, size and year
• Cv or experience if applicable
• Project proposal or artist statement (150–500 words)
• 3–5 images or documentation of proposed or previous work
• Technical/setup needs, if applicable

Artists of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to apply.
