The show has provided major opportunities for emerging artists since 2018, and this year it’s expanding to welcome even more artists, showcasing 40 to 50 more works.

Since 2018, the annual exhibition has provided an unparalleled showcase of contemporary art, and has launched the careers of previous winners and exhibitors, such as Nneka Uzoigwe, Michael Slusakowicz and Tushar Sabale.

This year, over £20,000 worth of prizes are on offer, the most prestigious of which, the Green & Stone Award, offers a fully funded solo show worth £10,000. This generous prize will be given to an artist who exhibits a natural feeling for their medium and its aesthetic potential, and is awarded by Green & Stone.

The 2025 selection panel boasts Alexander Marr, leading Art History Professor at Cambridge University; Charmaine Watkiss RWA, acclaimed British artist whose work has featured at the Venice Biennale; and Jonathan Yeo, leading British artist, perhaps most famous for his portrait of King Charles III.

Prizes include:

The Green & Stone Award given by Green & Stone: a fully funded 2-week solo show (worth £10,000) awarded to one artist.
The De Laszlo Foundation Young Artist Award, given by Damon and Sandra de Laszlo: a £3,000 cash award to the best portrait by an artist aged 30 or under.
The De Laszlo Foundation Highly Commended Young Artist Award: a £500 cash award to a young artist aged 30 or under.
The de Laszlo Foundation Surrealist Award: a £3,000 cash prize to the best surrealist-inspired artwork.
The de Laszlo Foundation Surrealist Highly Commended Award: a £500 cash prize to a surrealist-inspired artwork with the most potential.
The Small Artwork Award: a £1,000 voucher to spend at Green & Stone, awarded by the selectors to an artwork that doesn’t exceed 20cm in any direction.
And more prizes to be announced soon.

The exhibition is open to all artists over 18 years of age and all media are welcome. These include but are not limited to: painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, photography, print and textile.
