Applications for the 4th Edition of MAFRA DANCE FESTIVAL are now open! This festival is organized by Amalgama Companhia de Dança with the suport of Mafra City Council and promotes talents in a variety of positions in Contemporary Performative Dance.

The Mafra Dance Festival aims to be a democratic and inclusive space for culture and citizenship, in which independent or individual structures, professionals or amateurs can participate, giving visibility to their work and contributting to the development of ART!

The Festival does not aim competition but participation and collaboration. It is a Showcase Space. visibility, promotion and development of the participants, sharing knowledge and finding new possibilities. Bringing different views on Performative Dance and contributing to form an culturally active community and audience.

This is a Festival for all dance lovers, students, emerging artists and professionals of all ages.

The pieces will be selected by open call using criteria that focus on quality, originality, autenticity, relevance and fit within the festival.
