The new international call for Biennale College Musica for the year 2025 is online, in accordance with the project developed by Director Caterina Barbieri, in close connection to the theme on the next Festival, which explores the idea of music as a form of cosmogony.
Selection of up to five proposals by composers, sound artists and performers for a residency, research and production programme of new projects within LA STELLA DENTRO, the 69th International Festival of Contemporary Music of La Biennale di Venezia, to be held from 11to to 25th October 2024.
The eligible musical project categories are:
· live performance (with optional audiovisual component)
· acousmatic composition with multi-channel diffusion

All the selected composers, sound artists and performers will participate in a programme of exploration, research, creation and production, structured into three residency sessions in Venice. During the residency each of them will develop their own conception and/or interpretation of the work, in an ongoing discussion with the team of Biennale College Musica tutors.
