The PleinAir Salon Art Competition is an online art competition for traditional painting mediums, and is open to all artists over the age of 18. The PleinAir Salon awards $50,000 in ALL cash prizes each year. It consists of 12 monthly cycles with 23 winners, and those winners are all included in the Annual Competition awarded in May. There is a total of $22,000 awarded at the Annual Competition, including the $15,000 Grand Prize. That winner will also have their winning painting featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine, the #1 representational art magazine at Barnes & Noble.
