AiR Goyki 3 program has been run by Goyki 3 Art Inkubator since the end of 2020 and is primarily aimed at visual and literary artists. In 2024, we will welcome residents to join us during our seventh and eighth residency seasons. AiR Goyki 3 is focused on supporting the creative process and the dialogue between the artists of different areas. By offering the time and space for our residents we aim to provide them with an opportunity to develop new projects or continue their previous activities. We do not define the end result, we do not impose the theme of the residency or the projects carried out. We encourage well-thought-out activitiesand projects based on research which take into account the place of their execution, namely the city of Sopot and the spaces and surroundings of Goyki 3 Art Inkubator.

As part of the artist residency, the Art Inkubator provides the residents with:

– access to an atelier in the Art Inkubator building
– networking with the local art scene, arranging meetings and visits to institutions compatible with the resident’s artistic activity profile
– curatorial support during residencies
– accommodation for the residents in Sopot during the April – June residency period
– covering project implementation costs for two residents up to the amount of PLN 8,000 gross per resident in the case of the September – November residencies

To apply for the AiR Goyki 3 program, submit an application form for the appropriate residency season – spring or fall – filled out with the following information:

– an outline of a project to be carried out during the residency in Sopot (a text of up to 500 words)
– contact details – first and last names, e-mail address, phone number, date of birth, country of residence

and also attach:
– a resume with the most important recent projects and received awards in a PDF format, maximum file size 2MB
– a portfolio with an artist statement consisting of up to 6 completed projects with their technical description – maximum file size 3MB, obligatory PDF format

The completion of the selected form implies that the person has read and accepts the terms and conditions of the residency for the given date. Full residency rules and regulations are available on our website.

Every residency period is 2 months. During this period, the residents are required to stay and carry out artistic activities in Sopot.

Those granted artistic residency will be required to organise a minimum of one meeting open to the public.
