What is CDSA (City Digital Skin Art)?
CDSA (City Digital Skin Art) is a form of art based on urban skins such as screens and building facades in public spaces, focusing on the basic conditions of the digital age and pursuing the digital expression of public art. Its characteristic of combining urban public space and digital public space promotes the social imagination of the public on the symbiosis of technology, space and urban life through public art.
City digital skin is a part of urban environment. Urban environment shapes the appearance of cities to varying degrees. It not only reflects the image expression and lifestyle of cities, but also affects social relations in cities. As a part of digital interface and lies between private living space and the broader social space, digital skin has the potential to transform, connect, and ultimately communicate the two. Digital skin art combines the two to inspire and realize this potential with the help of art.

COMPETITION THEME:
"Look Up !"
Looking up is a posture and an attitude about life. From ancient to contemporary times, looking up at the stars has been a matter of contemplation and reflection, a way of life. However, “looking down”, opposite to looking up, is common in contemporary society. This year's competition invites distinctive imagination from participating artists on the theme “Look Up!”.

Looking up is to turn our eyes from private space to public space carried by urban skin. The competition gathers people to look up. Together we go upward and forward, and head for the future.
