Together with the National Art Gallery of Namibia and the Goethe-Institut Namibia, Akademie Schloss Solitude is establishing a new residency program in Namibia for artists from Germany who work between the fields of visual arts, literature/journalism and/or digital practice. During the stay, there is the opportunity to deal artistically with the topics of restitution/reparation, cultures of remembrance and digital colonialism.

We particularly welcome applications from Black people and/or people of African descent living in Germany.

The scholarships will be awarded for the period from June 1, 2023 to September 30, 2023.
The deadline for the application is January 10, 2023
