CATAPULT is a year-long professional development opportunity for an ambitious, emerging dance maker, creative partnership or collective based in Yorkshire. The programme includes a £3,000 bursary and aims to support the creative practice and strategic development of the selected artist(s), with a focus on making and presenting new artistic work, developing core organisational skills, and raising the profile of the artist(s) in the region and beyond.

CATAPULT is funded through the National Lottery and delivered by NSCD as a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England, in partnership with Spin Arts.

Previous CATAPULT artists include Akeim Toussaint Buck, Carlos Pons Guerra (DeNada Dance Theatre), Gracefool Collective and Crystal Zillwood.
