Dear artist
You are hereby invited to apply for participation in the 10. International WoodSculpture Symposium in Denmark, city: Sønderborg, June 19-25, 2022.
The symposium will take place in the surrounding of the beautiful Castle of Sønderborg, in the immediate proximity to the harbour and the inner city.
The oak tree blocks which you will be working on have the dimensions: minimum 60x160 cm.

This invitation will be sent out worldwide. This year, 10 artists will be invited after having screened all applications.
The theme for the sixth International WoodSculpture in Sønderborg is “TOUR DE FRANCE” The world biggest bicycle event is visiting Sønderborg on the 3rd of July 2022. 8 days after WoodSculpture Event. Your task is to interpret Tour de France and e.g. include associations with Tour de France (France, French culture, movement, bicycle etc.)
