This is our second art contest focused on finding the best designs for the mobile devices in our world. As always, here at SolSketch, we see mobile devices as blank canvases just waiting for artwork. The goal of SolSketch as a company is to separate the underlying products in our lives from the artwork they present, effectively turning the increasingly necessary elements of our lives into opportunities for creativity and expression. More so than ever, as we see devices dominating our daily lives, we think there is an opportunity to express ourselves like never before.

Curious what we're looking for? There's no set theme or goal, we just look for images that will look great on a wide range of devices. Take a look at a sampling of the past submissions (link available on the contest page on our site). Submissions have included everything from illustrations to photography to line drawings to high resolution photos of paintings. There are no set themes or goals for the artwork; rather, we just look for innovative and interesting pieces.

After judging is complete, we will actually create the products carrying the artwork from the winners and make them available to the world. Artwork may also be displayed in a gallery showing in the Chicago area.
