Our Residency Program
Our residency program offers artists, designers and craftsmen the possibility of working alongside each other, thereby increasing artistic development, professional experience and network. The program combines an international atmosphere and wide professional dialogue within a concentrated work period, with the exchange of knowledge and research into materials, techniques and ideas. Guldagergaard provides accommodation, studio space, technical staff, equipment and a variety of larger electric, gas and wood fired kilns. Both double and single rooms are available at different rates.
It is possible to apply for a residency four times a year: 15th February, 15th May, 15th August, 15th November. The dates for staying here are up to you (as long as we have the space of course).
Our Project Network program
Project Network is a six week symposium for recent graduates held every year at Guldagergaard. The aim of
the project is to give the participants the opportunity to create a network and dialogue within the same
generation of ceramic artists. The project promotes international exchange and investigation into the future
development of the ceramic arts. The participants will each accomplish a specific project of their own. This
means that all participants are responsible for their own project. The participants will have their own studio
space, and are offered workshops in making a catalogue, photographing and exhibiting their work. There will
be excursions to Danish studios, museums and galleries. A fair level of English skills is necessary.
Next deadline for application is: 15th May
