Brief description of residency program
Residency
GlogauAIR offers the use of a studio space in a superb location in Berlin. There are 13 studios distributed over 3 floors. Artists from all over the world and in almost any discipline stay at GlogauAIR for three or six months to develop their artistic project.
Project Space
The project space is the perfect venue for all sorts of events like workshops, classes, trainings, film screening, lectures, photo or film shootings, and exhibitions. It is 150 squares meters in three semi-detached rooms with white walls, white wooden floors, high windows, natural lighting, and plenty of wall and floor space as well.
GlogauAIR gives artists the possibility to place their work in an international context through exchange and collaboration.
Video interviews, our showcase exhibition space, artist talks, and workshops give artists the chance to interact with Berlin and demonstrate their work during the residency while working with experienced local and international curators.
At the conclusion of each 3-month period, an Open Studios event takes place that activates the whole building including the individual studios and the project space as a site for Berlin to discover the activities of our residency program.
