Liquid realities are unstable, permeable territories, where identities, images, and narratives flow without settling. The exhibition brings together practices spanning Fluxus, visionary art, contemporary illustration, experimental cinema, and surrealism, generating an ecosystem of works that challenge the solidity of reality. Flow becomes method: gesture, imagination, symbol, and narrative intermingle in a continuous exchange. The works do not represent the world, but transform it, liquefy it, making it permeable to new perceptive possibilities. In this fluid landscape, the viewer is invited to navigate visions, drifts, and metamorphoses.
The exhibition "Liquid Realities" explores a territory where images are no longer stable forms, but organisms in transformation. The idea of liquidity—understood as permeability, instability, mutation—becomes the key to uniting seemingly distant artistic practices: the processual radicality of Fluxus, the symbolic power of visionary art, the narrative precision of illustration, the grammar of cinema as a flow of frames, and the hybrid imagery of surrealism. These practices, brought together, generate an ecosystem of fluid images, where reality is not denied but continually renegotiated.
Using the terminology of cinema and experimental theatre, the works (cult objects) and the artists (floating worlds) engage visitors in an immersive experience with the curiosity and wonder typical of a wonder room. The event includes prizes and awards.
You'll be exhibiting masterpieces with a collection of works by major representatives of FLUXUS group: Joseph Beuys, John Cage, Giuseppe Chiari, Sam Kautsch, George Maciunas, Yoko Ono, and Ben Voutier. A unique opportunity to showcase your work in Italy and exhibit alongside theirs!
