This international competition is an opportunity to explore creativity through the emerging technologies used in smart phones & smart devices. These apps have opened up exciting new ways for creating extraordinary visions and imagery on devices that we carry around with us day and night.
Accepted work will be exhibited on large-screen displays in BWAC's gallery on the Red Hook waterfront in Brooklyn, NY, from September 21 through October 20, 2013.
Entries will be reviewed electronically by a juror (TBA) from B&H Photo, NYC, who will also select the recipients of $1500 in cash awards.
Award Details:
Best of Show Gold: $500
Best of Show Silver: $300
Best of Show Bronze: $200
Best Technique in each of 10 Emerging Technology categories: $50 each
Eligibility: This competition is open to all creators working on smart phones and smart devices, worldwide. All work must be original in concept, design and execution. All work must be captured and edited on a smart phone or smart device. Note: No image edited on a source other than a smart phone or smart device will be accepted.
Entry Fees: $30 for up to 7 images and $2 for each additional image.
