Guerneville, CA's Pond Farm is now open for residency applications through 5/1/19 for residencies in the back half of 2019. This is a solo residency of 1-3 months. Choose dates between August 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019. Pond Farm is a historic site: it was the school and colony of renowned, Bauhaus-trained ceramicist Marguerite Wildenhain. The site has been renewed by the Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods/California State Parks, and the current residency is open to artists of all disciplines, including writers. A partner and/or one small child may accompany the artist. Pond Farm is a rustic, beautiful, space within parklands, remote-feeling yet about 10 minutes outside of Guernveville, CA. We ask for a community engagement (class, presentation, project etc) as part of the residency. Details, history of place, and Submittable application link are available at
