Support to contemporary artistic creation, stimulating its research and development by hosting one international residency for one project by emerging artists of a foreign country, non-resident in Portugal, selected by O Rumo do Fumo.

- Production Support Grant of 750€;

- Compensation for travel, accommodation and food expenses of 300€, upon proof of expenses;

- Artistic counselling by O Rumo do Fumo’s associated artists;

- Travel, accommodation, food, insurance and health care coverage is assured by the participants. O Rumo do Fumo may help to find accommodation in Lisbon;

- Promotional support by e-mailing to O Rumo do Fumo national and international contacts database, Facebook and www.orumodofumo.com;

- Organization of a work-in-progress presentation at Espaço da Penha.

ELIGIBILITY:

- The project must be an original work, in creation phase and yet to premiere, in the area of ​​Dance and/or Performance;

- The applicant must have a maximum of 3 works presented in a professional context (his/her own creations, solo or group collaborations).

REHEARSAL STUDIO:

- 100m2 with wooden floor covered with black dance floor;

- Mirrors: 6m length by 2m height;

- Audio equipment: 2 amplified speakers, mixing board.

FACILITIES:

- Meal area with microwave and fridge;

- Bathrooms with hot shower;

- Wireless internet and printer available.
