Gallery 263 is excited to announce a new annual juried exhibition series, “vs.” Each year’s theme will integrate two contrasting elements into one exhibition. The inaugural call explores "Light vs. Dark." Light and dark may not only refer to artwork visually, but could also be depicted in the content of the work itself: Is art a way of working through and expelling the darkness in your world, or is it a way of letting the light flourish? Artists working in any media are invited to submit their interpretations of either subject.

The exhibition is juried by Ruth Erickson, the Mannion Family Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, MA. Open to all artists living in the US. Any 2D, 3D, and time-based work will be considered.

Deadline to Apply: March 31 at 11:59 PM

Exhibition Dates: May 2–June 1, 2019

Entry Fee: $25 for 1-3 images, $40 for 4-6 images
