If you haven’t heard yet, AURORA is back! The biennial of light, video and sound art will take over Dallas on November 3rd. Submissions will be reviewed for selection by a 2018 curatorial committee, including our team of excellent curators - http://www.justineludwig.com/" target="_blank">Justine Ludwig, Danielle Avram, http://nadimsamman.com/" target="_blank">Nadim Samman, and http://streamingmuseum.org/doo-eun-choi/" target="_blank">Dooeun Choi.
As part of AURORA’s program expansion, we have included a new ‘Citywide Program,' which will spotlight a selection of Dallas-based artists and neighborhood venues with installations, special events, screenings, and educational programming. If you’re an artist looking to exhibit a project within our 2018 'Citywide Program' (and get your artwork of front of a team of influential curators…) you’re in luck! Thanks to our friends at the Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs, AURORA will offer 8-10 artist grants, each for the amount of $2,000.

Each selected art project will be paired with a specially chosen host venue in the downtown Dallas area and adjacent neighborhoods, and will open to the public within the week of the main biennial event, October 28th - November 3rd.
