VENUE : Greek Island Kefalonia/Ionion Center for the Arts and Culture
ELIGIBILITY : Visual/sound artists, designers, photographers, herbalists, performers artists, linguists, digital artists, coders, sound artists, writers, and botanists.
Please note if you do not fall into one of these categories, you are still invited to submit an application.
Participants are invited to a series of individual and group studies on the island of Kefalonia to explore the capacity of language to generate physical senses from an environment, from the surrounding culture, and from experience.
Language can take many forms within a culture, not only by oral transmissions from on being to another but also through forms of ancient traditions, rites, symbols, food and digital code.
Through guided and personal encounters with the landscape, people, and dialect of Kefalonia, artists will be urged to frame language within individual and collaborative projects, which expand our given inhibitors and constructed boundaries of communication.

FEES – TERMS –CONDITIONS
REGISTRATION FEE :non refundable EURO 50 Due with the application/submission.
Payable to PAYPAL account :info@ionionartscenter.gr(Proof of registration fee payment must be sent to the Ionion Center for the Arts and Culture for each application).
PROGRAM MAIN FEES for 7 days (per participant) : EURO 1100. included 24% taxes
PROGRAM MAIN FEES for 15 days (per participant) : EURO 1730. included 24 %taxes
INCLUDED IN THE FEES : Tuition/ Full housing accommodation for 1 person , shared room -bathroom ,fully equipped ,daily room service,24 hours internet access, free use of laundry , kitchen, garden access, personal support, breakfast, dinner. Not included in the fees: transportation or other expenses of any kind for activities taking place out of the Center , not included art materials . Note: The exhibition hall, theater space, studio areas plus the Center professional sound – lighting-projection systems are granted free to the master class exhibition .Any loses or damages in the space or equipment during the installations, presentations, exhibitions fall on the artists).
Payment instructions will be send with the invoices. Completion of payments required 4 weeks before the class (or later- before the class- upon request in case of personal issue or late submission).

- Full name of the applicant (for group/collective projects indicate the title of the group, full name of the person representing OR leading the group PLUS the same information for every applicant).

- Brief statement of the applicant, no longer than 200 words.
- Brief resume, no longer than 3 pages.
- A copy of passport/ID card (of every member of the group for collective projects).

- In the email include a brief 3-line statement summarizing your project.
Deadline for completed application : JUNE 30, 2018. –EXTENTION TO JULY 5th 2018- We encourage participants to apply before the deadline since places are limited. Accepted participants will be notified by JULY 15th .
