Founded as the Society of Female Artists, this unique group has held an annual exhibition in London of the work of women artists ever since 1857.  The annual open exhibition is held at the prestigious Mall Galleries this September 2018 with many exciting Prizes to be won.

Rosemary & Co - £100 Brushes  for any work on Canvas or Paper

Barbara Tate Memorial Award - Silver Ingot to an SWA Member

Artist’ Editor’s Choice Award - featured article in their magazine

HRH Princess Michael of Kent Watercolour Award – a signed Certificate

St. Cuthbert’s Paper Mill Award for any works on paper

President and Vice Presidents Award – a signed  Certificate for an Up and Coming Artist/Sculptor

Artists may upload images of their work online at http://mallgalleries.oess.uk/. The selectors will choose works to be delivered on Receiving Day, to be judged at final selection. N.B. Works that are pre-selected are not automatically accepted for the exhibition, but enables artists to submit works for initial consideration without transport and framing costs.
