Yugie Kartaatmaja was born in Bandung, Indonesia on September 26th, 1986 and graduated with a degree in ceramic art from Bandung Institute of Technology.

In 2010 he was working at The Howler Terror Club a clothing line as a graphic designer. Now he is currently living in Jakarta, working as an art director in an advertising agency. In spare time, he still make an artwork for some of clothing line in Indonesia such as Monstore, Fake, Noah Eats Apple and also Publish and Wriot from America. He have had 7 group exhibition in the last 7 years

People usually said he was so random about his work. He refers to his talent as ‘fluxus art based’ and he found himself comfortable in any media art such as drawing, ceramic, digital print, mix media, video art and etc. Now he is currently doing an experiment in digital print on ceramic for his next group exhibition. The word “life imitating art” is his main idea because everything he knows about art is wrong.
