Born in Florence, Italy. She currently lives in London.

Lari`s professional background includes graphic art and photography, however filmmaking has always been an essential element of her artistic development. Her visual work mainly focuses on sense of loss, death, medical history and childhood. She has exhibited in Italy and London as photographer and illustrator and her film has been screened internationally in festivals and art shows.

Her latest project The Deformity of Beauty, an experimental film on the pathological collection of the Mütter Museum in Philadelphia, will be released in 2012.
