SURVEY: ARTISTS AS ENTREPRENEURS?

INTRODUCTION

The results of a survey with economic topics show that 70 % of the asked people agree that artists are entrepreneurs. I realized this survey in 2004 at the University for art and industrial design in Linz (Austria) with graduating art people.

The interpretation of this survey showed very interesting results. So I had the idea to make a similar survey with the wooloo.org community.

All results are online during the New Life Berlin Festival.

Wooloo artists have been invited to take part in my survey from the 28th of April until the 18th of May 2008 via e-mail.

RESULTS

I was sending out 311 e-mails and received 165 answers (over 53 %)!
