Mark Nakamura is interested in producing documentation of fictions as a strategy to create works that focus on ideas rather than physical objects. In doing so, he intends to insert actions/events into the past, rewriting history. This is often done by working backwards, first producing the ephemera that results from art exhibitions, eventually leading up to the creation of physical artworks (if appropriate for the project).
