Clase Media
Production: LOT Theater.
Concept: Carlos Cueva, Carlos Javier Vega and Sergio Zevallos.
Presented at the festival "Zona Fronteriza - Simposio Más allá del Teatro" Lima-Perú 2005, a project from LOT Theater that develops experimental interventions of public areas, to involve those in the process of arts.

In Clase Media the action develops through the variation of a sculptural scene. A ritualistic act of civil punition occurs next to a passive group of soldiers, whose bodies are gradually, erotically exposed. The unusual clash of these contradictory moments shows ambivalent feelings within the middle class, a class that has grown up struggling to maintain its social status in the face of political violence. Specifically, the performance portrays masculine identity and eroticism under such conditions.

FICTIVE DAYS
FICTIVE DAYS is a temporary performance studio for the collective research of fictional characters. It was presented fort he first time during the NEW LIFE BERLIN Contemporary Art Festival in June 2008.

8 artists/researchers were invited to Berlin to live and work closely together for two weeks in one large apartment. During the course of the project, everyday functions were arranged solely on the structures of famous film scenes involving the performing characters. These scenes were realized by the group and then developed further following the individual intentions, emotional reactions and practical needs of each performer. The project arises from the premise that the conscious aspects of affective relations happen between imagined identities and that the human ability to create fiction is one of its defining characteristics. Through its live cultivation of personal relationships, FICTIVE DAYS aims to investigate both the clichés of cinema and those of our everyday lives.
’Fiction’ is here defined as an imaginative form of narrative, behaviour or communication that is not entirely based upon facts.

A Project by Wooloo production and TEMPS – space support for nomadic projects.
Performance and Camera: Amelia Geocos, Nikki Johnson, Prescott Trudeau, Rebecca Loyche, Shokufeh Kavani, Tomomi Shimizu,Ve Magni und Sergio Zevallos. Doc by Jonathan Groeger.
