Nada Prlja's work deals with the complex political and sociological situations of the contemporary world. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Skopje, Macedonia and consequently received an MPhil (Master of Philosophy) research degree from the Royal College of Arts, London, UK.

Her work has been shown internationally. She had more than twenty solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions. Some of the shows were following: INIVA - Institute of International Visual Art, London; Contemporary Art Platform, London; OPTICA, Spain; Museum of Contemporary Art and National Gallery of Macedonia, Skopje; Zacheta National Gallery, Warsaw, Poland; Soros Center for Contemporary Art, Almati, Kazahstan, 2008 Biennale and Product Festival both in Varna; HACK.Fem.EAST in Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien, Berlin, <rotor> contemporary art association, Graz, Austria; 198 Contemporary Art Gallery, London.
