COMPETITION GIVES ARTISTS CHANCE TO EXHIBIT AT ARTROOMS 2017
Project Art, a new crowd-curated online arts market, celebrates their launch with new competition open to all artists.
London, UK:
Project Art – The Social Arts Market™, a London based start-up celebrates the launch of its online platform for artists, art newcomers, enthusiasts and collectors this month, with a call for entries to its competition inspired by their partnership with ARTROOMS.
The prize for the three winning artists is an opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork at Project Art’s exhibition space during ARTROOMS 2017.
To enter, artists simply have to upload any number of artworks to http://projectart.com/" target="_blank">projectart.com by June 1st. The platform’s users will then be able to view, share and like the artwork. The artists behind the three works, which receive the most user interactions by June 30th, will be selected as competition winners.
The competition is based on Project Art’s unique algorithm capturing social interactions which, for artists exhibiting on the the platform, positively influences their popularity and value of their work, creating a truly democratic art-market based on evolving trends.
Project Art’s co-founder Johannes Froehlich commented:
‘We are delighted to be running this competition to exhibit during ARTROOMS 2017. Our mission in creating Project Art was to break down the barriers that prevent many new artists from entering the market, and to make emerging art available to a broader audience to buy. This competition will help us do exactly that and give three artists the chance to showcase their work on a global stage at London’s largest art fair for independent artists.’
ARTROOMS 2017 will be running from January 20 - 23 2017 at the Meliá White House in London. Artists interested in entering the competition should visit http://www.projectart.com/" target="_blank">www.projectart.com to register.
