FLAMMA! is the first edition of a three-day contemporary cultural festival, based in The Netherlands, 15-17 July 2016.

Flamma! is a cross-over festival, where visual art, performance, music and theatre challenge each and/or complement each other.

The festival will be presented in a Roman setting:

> Museum Romeinse Katakomben: an underground museum with a mystique labyrinth full of Roman Crypts (4th and 5th century). In addition to this labyrinth, the museum contains a number of beautiful underground exhibition spaces and an intimate outside garden.

!EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR YOUNG ARTISTS!

We will present a Flamma!-platform for young talents, where young artists can exhibit their work. When you have been graduated less then 5 years from an art academy or a similar institution, and if you're inspired by our theme 'Flamma!' (flame/fire/passion/roman history), please send your proposal (plus estimated costs if there are any) to us. Concepts that are based upon a cross-over collaboration between different artists are also very welcome.

Important
Sensitive works such as works on paper or canvas are not suitable to be part of the festival: Flamma! will take place outside and in the underground exhibition rooms of the museum, which, because of the relatively high air humidity, are unsuitable for sensible works.
