EXHIBITION CONCEPT
Objects play an important role in defining our lives and the places we choose to live in and visit. Chicago artist and teacher Ray Yoshida’s home collection, on view beginning Sept. 22 as part of The Open Eye series at John Michael Kohler Arts Center, exemplifies this. The Arts Center invites you to create and submit a work that conjures a specific memory of travel and evokes a place. Complete submission details and guidelines are available at http://www.jmkac.org/">www.jmkac.org; click on “Exhibitions” and visit the “Call for Entries” page. For more information, contact Andrea Avery at aavery@jmkac.org or (920) 694-4699.
