VEKTORIELL, show by Rebecca Agnes and Stefania Migliorati

In mathematics a vectorial field describes the intensity and the directions of an “organic” force – gravitational, eletronic, magnetic. Consequently, every vectorial field is individuated by a critical point, that annihilates it. A precise physical unit of space that has a null value or tends to infinitum. Materializing an absence. A void The works of Rebecca Agnes and Stefania Migliorati, presented in Corpo 6 Galerie, produce the same amount of dynamic tension between an organic trace of reality and its counterpart shadow of negation. Puzzle of Stefania Migliorati is a site specific installation, that reproduces - tracing a precise number of points in space -  the outline of a fountain. The underwritten element evocates – the water – representing the inner symmetrical force of construction and destruction force working within the factual. Water, as an active actor in recombining, reassembling heterogeneous elements, describes - historically and metaphorically - the process of life and death. Depicting a dionysian scenario of tragic truths. Gothic of Rebecca Agnes is a videoinstallation whose graphical narrative core depicts the continuum alternation of a ghostly absence engraved in an alive streaming of organic elements. Gothic lets emerge, within a hyper colored representation, a stylized territory obsessed with the obscure presence of vacant spaces. A resembling of an absence. A brutal loss. The mysterous and estreme contraddiction of existence. Both works use a mathematical formal reference, the algorithmic representational logic scheme. A vectorial fresco of the uncompromising beauty of death and life within nature. Fabio Campagna
