It’s no secret that human activities are drastically impacting our environment and climate while affecting vulnerable wildlife and entire ecosystems. Artists have always been inspired by the beauty of nature, but how is this relationship evolving when we know flora and fauna are disappearing? WILD—a national exhibition at Gallery 263 juried by Jane Winchell—invites artists to submit work that considers their definition of ‘wild’ in a time of planetary change.
The exhibition is juried by Jane Winchell, the director of Peabody Essex Museum’s Dotty Brown Art & Nature Center in Salem, MA. Open to all artists living in the US. Any 2D, 3D, and time-based work will be considered.
Deadline to Apply: February 1 at 11:59 PM
Exhibition Dates: February 20–March 14, 2020
Entry Fee: $25 for 1-3 images, $40 for 4-6 images
