Little Islands Festival is a new festival for people, places, ideas and images.

It’s a celebration of audiovisual arts taking place on a different little island of Greece every year.This year , the second edition of the festival begins from the island of Amorgos before returning to its base,the special island of Sikinos for the summer's closing.

The Festival aspires to connect the islands with contemporary art and technology, to support artists from the local community or any other place, to promote tangible and intangible cultural heritage, as well as the beauty and power of small communities around the world.

We want to be part of the place but also part of the trip, like every little island. That’s why every year we choose a new story to tell, a new path to follow, a new small place to host the festival.

 In collaboration with artists experimenting with audiovisual arts, we reinforce the creative community, encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge and actively support the interaction between the place, the artists and the visitors

At the same time, through the activities of the festival, the educational workshops and the open talks, we aim at educating children and teens living on small islands, and at raising the awareness of the local community on issues of art and technology.

The festival is open to all ages with free entrance and hosts video art, performances,short films, documentaries, soundscapes and animations.

 LIF is, after all, a modern, inclusive feast that reoccupies public space and creates new landscapes in old places.
