Caedmon is a computer creating art.

The project started in 2013 and it was rebranded under its current name in 2017. In less than 2 years, it reached a good following on twitter (more than 3500 followers), took part in some exhibitions, and got featured by many newsapers and websites.

How do Caedmon work? He gets its inspiration by a corpora of thousands artworks from different centuries and countries, and generates new works with a process inspired by the natural selection, a process that is influenced by user's likes on twitter and facebook.

The next step in this project is starting a collaboration programme called "featured artists".

Every week Caedmon will choose one artist, between those who registered at http://www.caedmon.it/featured/submit , and create artworks inspired by their style.

The application process takes only few minutes - it only requires your email, name, instagram and twitter username (those two are optional) and three images of three of your artworks. Registering is free.

Once you get selected, Caedmon will create some works inspired by your submitted artworks, and those will be shared on our Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Tumblr channels. Every time Caedmon shares one of those artworks, your name, as well as links to your social channels, will be included.

Artworks created in the frameworks of this programme are not going to be sold.
