Mas Els Igols is a residency & artist retreat that we offer to artists that seek to work in tranquillity on a project or artwork. You will get a beautiful newly refurbished (2014) studio with high ceilings (>4 m.) in 250-year-old wine Estate ‘Mas Els Igols’. The estate is situated in la Berna (Torrelles de Foix) some 60 Kilometers from Barcelona city.
Included in the residency:
● All regular services of our residency will be included in this open call
● The chance to participate in a group exhibition on the 14th of February
● One month in a single suit private room, including bedsheets & towels
● Access to the screen printing workshop & equipment
● 20 m2 studio space surrounded by the vineyards of Barcelona in the Penedes
● Shared kitchen (max 6 people)
● Access to a digital art documentary library with around 900 films
● Weekly transfer to the train to go to Barcelona join new coming artists in an exciting exchange environment

Accommodation
Estudio Nómada is offering a stay at paradisical artist residency Mas els Igols some 50 km outside of Barcelona city.
Studio/ workspace
You will have access to a large studio in an ancient farmhouse in Barcelona's wine region Penedes and join an exhibition in our exhibition space in the gallery district of Barcelona (on Trafalgar 55).
Fees and support
Single room= €625 / €675
Double room = €850 if used by a single person, and €950 if used by a couple
Expectations towards the artist
On Fridays, we organize a studio workday in Barcelona where you can join to talk and collaborate with our students,
It is possible to leave a work behind to show at our residence exhibition on 14 February. The expenses for sending the work back after the show are for the artists.
