The artist residency program at Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts offers two sessions per year including three week programs. Awarded residencies are based on overall application, availability, and the applicant’s ranking in jury process. The Winter/Spring artist retreats run from January – May with the application deadline on September 1 of the previous year. The Summer/Fall session runs from June – November with the application deadline on March 1 of the same year. BCFA residencies provide time, space and facilities for research, experimentation and production of work and ideas in the visual, literary, film and musical arts.

Residents are at liberty to structure their own time and activity. They may choose to maintain their privacy or to engage with other residents and activities at the Foundation.
