PROPOSAL SUBMISSION – No Entry Fee

Please send submissions and related inquiries to innerspace175@gmail.com

- 150-250 words proposal that describes the themes and content of the show conceptually and visually, media exhibited, and installation requirements.

- Submit at least 10-15 images of individual works, additional detail images allowed if necessary to show an important or supplementary feature of artwork.

- The gallery is a small space; proposing artists and curators need to assure that they have considered the intimate nature of a chamber gallery.

- Images are required for all planned installations – a conceptual drawing showing how the installation will be placed in the Gallery is acceptable if the actual work has not been completed.

- Proposals for performance, sound, and video should provide links to work or in a format that can be played by standard video/audio software.

- Image size requirements: 1000 pixels on the longest side at 72 DPI, JPEG format only – save at the highest resolution. Each image should be labeled with the artist’s last name and the number of the entry (e.g., JSMITH01.jpg, or JSMITH01-detail.jpg)

IMAGE LIST FORMAT

- artist’s name, address, and contact information (phone, e-mail)

- the title of each artwork (matched to the picture number)

- the medium (or media) used

- dimensions

- proposed title for this exhibit

- your current artist’s resume/CV

- your artist’s statement relating to this exhibit

ARTWORK CONDITIONS, LIMITATIONS & SAFETY

- Artists proposing video, sound, or computer-based artworks may be required to provide the necessary equipment for a presentation of works. The artist or persons working for the artist must provide specific installation instructions or assist with install in coordination with Gallery.

- No ceiling mounted works will be considered.

- Inner Space is a no-profit institution; artist/curators/performers are responsible for all shipping costs.
