Audio-visual artists collective Small Problem invites artists to be part of our exhibition in 10th of May in Amsterdam.
PROBLEM IS NEVER SMALL, the project raises a question of how much capacity and territory are really given to one, mentally and physically, as an outsider in a society. By highlighting problems of misunderstanding in diversity and differences, it aims to draw a discourse on cultural stimulation, and social identities for outsiders to construct a new perspective.

OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSION
We call for artists, strangers, and expats around the world whose a problem need a revolt against erroneous judgments. We are looking for video-art works to include in the selection for our exhibition on 10th May 2018, at Sociëteit SEXYLAND in Amsterdam. The act will be live streaming online from different angles as a performance. Making statements, the power of propaganda will be revived in a new model, as a means of swaying public opinion to empower individuals other than the nations. 

WHAT WE ASK
Make statements or propaganda on behalf of your SMALL problem, the problem of living as outsiders, being misjudged, geographically or mentally.

DEADLINE: 29 April 2018
FORMAT: LOOP VIDEOS or IMAGES, NO SOUND.
(mov, mpg4, mp4, gif, and any compatible video formats for screens)
Maximum 5 seconds for one loop.
Vertical and horizontal videos both acceptable.
Include a short description on your small problem.

*Please keep in mind, we prefer to include new works for this exhibition, it is important to satisfy the specific formats we provide.
