The Association of Visual Artists (BBK) Osnabrück is inviting professional artists to apply for the open competition „DIN A4“.
„DIN A4“ not only outlines the maximum format of the work to be submitted, it also questions the standardization of our society.
The BBK Osnabrück is calling on artists to deal with these phenomena and to visualize them.

A jury will select the works for this exhibition.
The members of the jury will be announced shortly.
The selected works will be shown from 04.27.2018 until 05.19.2018 in the gallery „Kunst-Quartier“ of the BBK Osnabrück.
The „Kunst-Quartier“ offers professionally equipped rooms in a central location close to the Kunsthalle in Osnabrück
It is visited by about 5,500 visitors a year.
The exhibition will be advertised via web, social media, print and email marketing.

All disciplines of the visual arts can apply.
A multiple application (also as part of a group) is not desired.

The exhibition will be accompanied by an online catalog.

General guidelines and rules for participation:

Every artistic technique is allowed It can be used by individuals or groups Each participant can submit (number) work (s) Submissions can be made in German and English

The application can be submitted (exclusively) by email or via our form below.

Deadline 03.30.2018
This must contain:

Title and short description of the work (max 300 words) technique measurements and weight  (21cm x 29,7cm x NNN) production year Pictures of the work (max 5 pictures) A short CV (max 1 page)

The works must be submitted by post via our cloud service or in person to the BBK.
Printouts via the cloud server are not color accurate.
After the end of the exhibition, the return or pickup will take place.
There will be no exhibition fee or similar paid.
The confrontation with the format „DIN A4“ is the main purpos of this exhibition.
