Artist Residency Chattanooga (ARC) functions as an arts incubator and offers professional development for artists from around the world, giving time and space to create new work in Chattanooga, TN, for one month. In exchange for having time to focus on new work and ideas, the artist is tasked with providing community outreach and education in the form of workshops, lectures, studio visits, and an exhibition.

We provide studio space, some tool/facility access, networking opportunities and local resources, in addition to an exhibition complete with opening reception events. We also provide press & documentation, as well as an opportunity for the artist’s story to be shared with the world after their stay in the form of a short documentary-style segment.

We have received a small local grant and will be able to pay for the artist's lodging and studio expenses for the month; most other expenses will be the responsibility of the artist, including travel, food, and materials.

Visit our website for more information about these opportunities as well as submission guidelines, previous artists, and other ARC news!
