COMMUNITY LAB CALL FOR EVENT AND POP UP PROPOSALS


Cultural Platforms for Resistance (CPR), is looking for artists, activists, academics, cultural producers, administrators, curators, educators, writers, thinkers, doers, and makers of all ages in the DMV area to host events and/or activities within the gallery’s dedicated Community Lab.


Group as well as individual proposals are welcome and encouraged. If submitting a group proposal, please provide one person as the main point of contact.



Your proposal ideally would fit the mission of CPR as a hub for cultural activity that is inclusive, informative as well as fun and welcoming.


●     Programs could be but are not limited to the following:


●     a panel, conversation session, town hall, meet up, working group, organizational meeting event, artists/creative workshop, cultural training, dance lessons/pop-up performance, forms of activism/resistance, reports from the field, pop-up projects, University org/student lead events, teen organizations, music hours, etc.



All submissions must be submitted to info@culturalplatforms.com by August 28, 2017.

The Community Lab will run through the duration of CPR



Submission Deadline: August 28, 2017



Selected proposals will be notified by August 30, 2017 and the schedule of events will be announced September 1, 2017.



Please note: more than one proposal may be submitted but not all will be selected.
