ExploLab – an international workshop programme – theatre, dance, art & society.

By: ZID Theater (Amsterdam) together with POD Teatar (Belgrade)
For whom: theatre makers, dancers and choreographers, performance artists, musicians, video makers, entrepreneurs, researchers, students and experienced participants
Programme
Participants will study the relationship between art and society within different disciplines, with the accent on theatre and dance, under guidance of experienced workshop leaders. Join the workshops, meetings, and presentations that will be organised prior to and during the international ExploreZ Festival.
The workshop programme:
– daily training in performance techniques, principles of choreography, and improvisation techniques
– artistic interventions on location
– methods to work with storytelling
– realising projects: organising, creating, and presenting

About the workshop leaders
Karolina Spaic, artistic leader of ZID Theater, and Tatjana Pajovic, artistic leader of POD Teatar, will lead the workshops together with their respective colleagues.
Karolina Spaic, theatre director, has developed over the last 25 years at ZID Theatre her own work methods and signature, for which she has received multiple awards. https://www.zidtheater.nl/en/karolina-spaic/">Click here for more information.

Cost
The costs for the 10-day programme of workshops and presentations are:
Early Bird price (until 20 August, 2017): €170.00
After that date, the price is €200.00
Admission to all the programmes of the international ExploreZ Festival is included.
For people from Serbia participation is free, but we do need a motivation letter.

Registering
Fill in the form below to register for ExploLab from 22 September – 1 October in Belgrade, Serbia. The deadline for registering is 15 September 2017. There is only a limited number of places, so don’t wait too long.
After having registered we will send you a confirmation email and an invoice. Your registration will become definite after we have received your CV and payment. We will also plan a Skype call with you, to get to know you better.
When you register before 20 August 2017 the cost will be €170. This sum must be paid before 30 August. When you register after 20 August, the costs are €200.
Extra INFO
ExploLab is the international workshop programme from ExploreZ festival. The ExploreZ Serbia festival runs from 25 September until 1 October at the same time as the BITEF Belgrade International Theatre Festival (ExploreZ is partner of the BITEF Polyphony programme). So in the same period, you can visit many international performances and meet new people. The performances that are part of BITEF are not included in the price. Also not included in the workshop costs are food, stay and travel costs, which participants have to organise and pay for themselves.
